According to ETimes, the businessman has been booked in an alleged fraud abetment to suicide case. It all happened when a resident of Papad Hamzapur village in Uttar Pradesh named Gyanendra filed a complaint against Nikhil Nanda along with other officials of a tractor company and accused them of pushing his brother-in-law, Jitendra Singh, to take his own life.

In a shocking turn of events, Amitabh Bachchan's son-in-law Nikhil Nanda has landed in trouble. According to reports, Gyanendra filed a complaint at the Dataganj Police Station in which he mentioned that Jitendra, who previously ran a tractor agency named Jai Kisan Traders in Dataganj along with his business partner Lalla Babu, used to manage the agency alone when the latter was imprisoned due to a family dispute. That's when Nikhil Nanda and other officials of his company CMD came into the picture.
In the complaint, Gyanendra accused them of pressurising his brother-in-law which eventually led him to take his own life.

Nikhil Nanda is a well-known name in the business world. He is married to Big B's daughter Shweta Nanda. Born on March 18, 1974, Nikhil Nanda is the MD (Managing Director) and Chairman of Escorts Kubota Limited. As per reports, the runover of his company is estimated to be over Rs 42,141 cr.
He had tied the knot with Shweta in 1997 and became proud parents to daughter Navya Naveli Nanda and son Agastya Nanda. For those unversed, Nikhil hails from the Kapoor khandaan. He is the son of Raj Kapoor's late daughter, Ritu Nanda.
