Anupam Kher Reacts On Pahalgam Terror Attack: 'Is baar aisa sabak sikhaya jaye...' Anupam Kher fought back his tears while addressing the Pahalgam terror attack. 'Galat hai ye,' the actor said while calling out the deadly attack that left 27 Hindus dead in an open fire. The veteran said that he is deeply saddened by what has happened in Srinagar. Anupam Kher also urged PM Modi and Amit Shah to take strict action against the terrorists, emphasizing that the punishment should be so severe that they fear any such acts in the future.

Anupam Kher Fights Back Tears While Addressing Pahalgam Terror Attack

Anupam Kher uploaded two clips on his Instagram story saying, "Aaj jo Pahalgam me Hinduon k sath narsanhar hua hai...use man m dukh to hai hi lekin krodh aur gusse ki intehan ki koi seema nahi hai (What happened in Pahalgam has not only left me sad but angry too)." The actor further recalled witnessing many such incidents when he used to live in Kashmir.

Anupam Kher claimed that a small glimpse of such terror attacks is shown in the movie The Kashmir Files. The actor further called out people for calling the movie "propaganda." He further claimed that terrorists asking the religion of the people before killing them has left him speechless.

Anupam Kher captioned his post, "ग़लत ... ग़लत... ग़लत !!! पहलगाम हत्याकांड!! शब्द आज नपुंसक हैं!! 💔." In the video, Anupam was clearly seen fighting back his emotions and tears in the eyes.

Anupam Kher further recalled the faces and voices of the survivors in the Pahalgam terror attack and how they were yelling over the dead body of their loved ones. Anupam said in his video, "Mai Amit Shah se aur Modi ji se, hanth jor kar, darkhwast krna chahta hu ki is baar aisa sabak sikhaya jaye in atankwadiyon ko ki agle saat janam tak ye aisi harkat krne ke layak na rahe. (I want to humbly request Amit Shah and Modi ji with folded hands that this time, the terrorists should be taught such a lesson that they aren't capable of committing such acts for the next seven lifetimes.)"

PM Modi has condemned the Pahalgam terror attack, saying, "I strongly condemn the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured recover at the earliest. All possible assistance is being provided to those affected." He further assured people that a strict action will be taken against the terrorists. PM Modi tweeted, "Those behind this heinous act will be brought to justice...they will not be spared! Their evil agenda will never succeed. Our resolve to fight terrorism is unshakable and it will get even stronger."
