FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) has released a press release in which they have stated that they have issued a "blanket boycott" on Pakistani actors. The statement was shared online by Ashoke Pandit, the president of the Indian Film & Television Directors' Association and the chief advisor of FWICE. It read, "In the wake of these repeated attacks, FWICE reaffirms its unwavering commitment to national interest and solidarity. We reiterate our directive, originally issued on February 18, 2019, calling for complete non-cooperation with all Pakistani artists, singers, and technicians within the Indian film and entertainment industry."

Then, giving the update on Abir Gulaal's release, FWICE confirmed that the film will not be released in India. It said, "We will take all necessary steps to ensure that Abir Gulaal is not released in India."

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan took to Instagram to react to the Pahalgam terror attack. With a black background, he wrote in his Instagram story, "Deeply saddened to hear the news of the heinous attack in Pahalgam." He further added, "Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim of this horrifying incident, and we pray for strength and healing for their families in this difficult time."

She reportedly took down the post from her social media to avoid any further trolls.

Vaani also took to her Instagram last night to condemn the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The actress wrote, "Have been numb, at a loss for words since the time I have seen the attack on innocent people in Pahalgam. Gutted Devasted. My prayers are with the families."
