Paresh Rawal Shocking Revelation: Veteran Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal made headlines with his unconventional approach to healing a serious knee injury he sustained while filming. During an intense scene for the movie Ghatak, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, a mishap occurred due to the slippery slippers provided to him, leading to a severe knee injury. This incident, which took place in a fish market, was further aggravated when his co-actor, Rakesh Pandey, dragged him more forcefully than planned during the actual take, despite being cautious during rehearsals.

After the injury, Paresh Rawal was taken to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital by colleagues Tinnu Anand and Danny Denzongpa. It was there, feeling his career might be at an end, that he received peculiar advice from Veeru Devgan. Veeru Devgan suggested a remedy that seemed rather shocking at first. He told Rawal, "Unhone kaha, 'Subah uthkar apna pehla urine peena, sab fighter log yeh hi karte hain. Koi takleef nahi rahegi, kabhi kuch nahi hoga. Lekin pichhli raat ko sharab mat peena, mutton, tobacco kuch mat khana.'"

Taking this advice to heart, Rawal decided to drink his own urine, a practice he maintained for 15 days. He approached this remedy with determination, treating it as he would a beer, and the results were astonishing. "Maine socha ki isse udail nahi dunga, will sip it like a beer. Maine 15 din tak yeh kiya aur doctor dang reh gaye. Unhone kaha, 'Yeh cementing apne aap kaise ho gayi?' He saw a white lining on the injury indicating it is healed," Rawal elaborated on his recovery process. This unconventional method not only expedited his recovery but amazed the medical professionals attending to him.

The recovery, which was expected to take up to two and a half months, was significantly shortened to just a month and a half, thanks to the unusual but effective treatment. Rawal attributes this swift healing to the advice given by Veeru Devgan and his willingness to follow through with it. The incident not only highlights an uncommon healing method but also showcases the actor's resilience and dedication to his craft.

Currently, Paresh Rawal is gearing up for an exciting lineup of films, including Priyadarshan's Bhoot Bangla, Welcome To The Jungle, Nikita Roy, The Taj Story, Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi, and Hera Pheri 3. His recovery story not only adds an interesting chapter to his life but also anticipates his continued contributions to Indian cinema.
