Raid 2 Twitter Review: Ajay Devgn is set to take over the big screen with a bang with his recent release and we can't keep calm about it. Ajay has returned as IRS officer Amay Patnaik in the crime thriller drama which is helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta and also comes with his fresh pairing with Vaani Kapoor. To note, Raid 2 is the much awaited sequel to the 2018 release Raid and while Vaani has stepped into Ileana D'Cruz's shoes for the female lead, Riteish Deshmukh has taken the role of lead antagonist Dada Manohar Bhai

Interestingly, Ajay as Amay Patnaik is set to conduct his 75th raid and the renowned corrupt politician Dada Manohar Bhai is on his target. Needless to say, Ajay and Riteish are expected to have an intense showdown. For the uninitiated, Raid 2 happens to be Ajay's 4th collaboration with Riteish after Cash, Masti and Total Dhamaal. Also starring Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Amit Sial, and Supriya Pathak, Raid 2 has got the tongues wagging as it has hit the theatres today.

Raid 2 Advance Booking Collection

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Raid 2 has made a collection of Rs 6.52 crores from advance booking collection and managed to surpass Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story Of Jallianwala Bagh and Jaat to record the third highest advance booking collection of 2025. In fact, Raid 2 is expected to make an opening day collection of Rs 14 crores today at the box office.

Meanwhile, Ajay recently got candid about Vaani Kapoor replacing Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead in Raid 2 and stated, "You see it in a lot of Hollywood films also. Still, Sean Connery is not the James Bond. It's the character you follow, and then new people keep coming in". To note, Raid 2 is set to release on May 1 and will have a box office clash with Sanjay Dutt's The Bhootnii.
