Rajkummar Rao Receives Best Actor Award On Behalf Of New Mother & Wifey Patralekhaa- WATCH

Patralekhaa couldn't be there when her name was called for Best Actor for Phule. She had delivered her baby just a day earlier, so Rajkummar Rao went up on stage for her and turned the moment into something warm and memorable.

I am saying all this on behalf of Patralekhaa, Thank you to the producers and the jury for nominating Patralekha, because I think she is such a wonderful actress, of course has hasn't gotten a lot of opportunities but whenever she has got them, she has killed it, be it Phule, be it IC814, City lights and many more, and now of course, I have to go back to the hospital where both my darlings are waiting for me."

He further added, "And this one is also for Savitribai and Jyotiba because what they did for our society, I wish that everyone does the same. Because they saw everyone in the same light without any discrimination. Also this one is dedicated to our little princess who has just arrived a day back. To all the girls out there who are working very hard everyday to make something of their life , you are not alone, we are all with you, thank you, have a good evening guys."
