Yeedi Vijaylakshmi was just 15 years old when she dropped out of her school and gave up education. She made her acting debut in Hariharan's Malayalam film 'Sargam' (1992). Hariharan had spotted her at school's Annual Day competition when she was in 7th standard. And that's how everything changed for Vijaylakshmi and we got one of the most popular Indian actress 'Rambha'. Yes, she is none other than Rambha.

After ruling the South film industry, Rambha made her Bollywood debut in 'Jallad' (1995). She has worked in popular Hindi films like 'Judwa', 'Beti. No 1', 'Krodh', and 'Kyo Kii... Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta' to name a few.

Quits Films For Marriage & Tied The Know With A Man Who Was Already Married

She was at the peak of her career when she decided to quit films and get married to get married, leaving her fans shocked. The actress had tied the knot with the Canada-based Tamil businessman Indrakumar Pathmanathan on 8th April 2010 and moved to Toronto. Rambha-Indrakumar are proud parents to three kids - two daughters and a son.

A couple of years after her marriage, rumours spread like wildfire that her her husband was already married to someone else. As per DNA, which was published back in 2016, Indrakumar was allegedly married to a lady named Dushyanti Selvavinayakam and Rambha got to know about it after their marriage. Soon after this, reports surfaced that Rambha was thinking of getting divorced. However, the actress herself dismissed the divorce speculations later.

Now, Rambha is all set to make a comeback on screens as a judge in the brand new season of the dance reality show, 'Jodi: Are You Ready?'.
