Well, this story is about one such actress who never wanted to build a career in acting. She believed she did not have "heroine-friendly" qualities. This actress also was hesitant to perform a kiss scene on the screen.

This actress is no other than Rani Mukherji. The actress did not first want to pursue a career in acting. Talking about the same in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rani said, "For somebody like me who's short, who does not have a really fair complexion, has a voice which so unique not very heroine-friendly voice...So I think I never really believed that I could be on silver screen and do the works." However, it was in her fate to be a heroine. The actress was pushed by her mother to pursue acting.

But do you know it was not easy for Rani to perform a kissing scene on screen? She starred in Kunal Kohli's film Hum Tum and made headlines for not the right reasons. In the movie, Rani had a kissing scene with Saif Ali Khan. It was revealed by the actor that however smooth that kissing may look on screen it was very awkward in real life. As per India.com's report, Saif called the kissing scene with Rani to be "the worst kiss in the history of Indian cinema" as despite being awkward about the scene they went ahead with it.

Despite all the ups and downs, Rani became a super-hit actress back in the 90s. She starred with several famed actors, including Amitabh Bachchan in Black, Shah Rukh Khan in Veer Zaara, Hrithik Roshan in Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Saif Ali Khan in Bunty and Babli, and Aamir Khan in Mann, Luck By Chance, Talaash and many others.
