Richa supports campaigns that promote responsible consumption and has used interviews, events and social media to keep ecological issues visible.
All Living Things Environmental Film Festival ALT EFF and Richa Chadha climate message
Speaking about taking on this role, Richa Chadha said, "The climate emergency is here and is now shaping how we live, in real time. People are moving cities due to air quality or flooding. Weather 'anomalies' and destruction are happening now routinely. We are all affected by it health wise and financially because there is no economy without ecology. A home-grown film festival that tells stories of the earth is a great step because stories are powerful catalysts of change."
Richa has long backed sustainability and conservation projects, so the Goodwill Champion role at ALT EFF fits Richa’s existing work. The association uses cinema to encourage wider ecological awareness. Festival organisers and Richa aim to reach new audiences and deepen public engagement with climate and environmental stories.
