Saif Ali Khan Attack Family Safety Update: In what came as the most shocking news from Bollywood, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed during a burglary incident at the Mumbai residence. According to media reports, the incident took place in the wee hours of January 16 (Thursday) at around 2-3 am. The media reports suggest that Saif suffered six injuries out of which two were deep and one was even close to the spine. While the Race 2 actor was immediately rushed to Mumbai's Lilavati hospital, he has been undergoing a surgery.

The news has sent down a wave of shock and concern across the industry and amid Saif's massive fan following. While the cops are investigating the matter, celebs like Jr NTR, Imtiaz Ali Khan etc eve have expressed shock in the matter. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Jr NTR wrote, "Shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif sir. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery and good health". This isn't all. Saif's children Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan was also seen rushing to the hospital this morning.

And now, Kareena's team has issued a statement revealing that the entire family including Saif, Kareena, kids Taimur and Jeh were at the home during the unfortunate and shocking incident. While the reports have got everyone shocked and concerned about Kareena and kids' safety, the diva's team has issued a statement in the matter and confirmed that everyone else is safe and fine. The official statement read as, "There was an attempted burglary in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which is in hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine. We request media and fans to be patient and not speculate any further as the Police is already doing their due investigations. Thank you all for your concern"

Intruder Was At Saif Ali Khan's Residence All Night

Meanwhile, according to a report published in News18, the intruder was said to be inside Saif-Kareena's residence for the entire night before the incident took place. Reportedly, apart from Saif, a female staff at the residence was also injured during the incident.
