Kareena Kapoor Team's Team's 1st Statement On Saif Ali Khan Attack: The Bollywood industry woke up to a shocking news this morning as Saif Ali Khan was reportedly injured during a burglary at his Mumbai residence. According to media reports, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times before the intruders fled the spot. He has been rushed to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital and is said to be undergoing a surgery for the same. As the incident has come as a shock to everyone, the doctors had issued a statement in this regard as well.
As per the official statement from the hospital, the Nawab of Pataudi was attacked by an unknown person at this residence. He had six injuries 'from a sharp object like knife' and two of these wounds were deep. In fact, one wound is close to the spine and a 'small piece of foreign body close to the spine is identified'. "He is currently undergoing surgery under Dr Nitin Dange, Consultant Neurosurgeon, Dr Leena Jain, Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Dr Nisha Gandhi, Consultant Anaesthesiologist, Dr Kavita Srinivas, Intensivist, Dr Manoj Deshmukh Consultant Radiologist. The extent of the damage will be understood once the surgery is completed," the statement read
Kareena Kapoor Khan's Team Issues First Statement Post Attack
And now, Saif Ali Khan's wife Kareena Kapoor Khan's team has issued the first statement in this regard and requested privacy at the moment. The team has emphasised that Saif is currently undergoing a surgery and the police is investigating the matter. The official statement read as, "There was an attempted burglary in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which is in hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine. We request media and fans to be patient and not speculate any further as the Police is already doing their due investigations. Thank you all for your concern".
Jr NTR Reacts To Saif Ali Khan Attack Incident
Meanwhile, Saif's Devara co-star Jr NTR has expressed his shock in the matter. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Jr NTR wrote, "Shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif sir. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery and good health"
