Saif Ali Khan Attack: Karishma Tanna, Raveena Tandon Raise Security Concerns After The Horrific Incident

Today, netizens woke up to shocking news about Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan being attacked in the early hours at his Bandra residence, Satguru Sharan luxury apartments. An intruder reportedly broke into his home around 2:30 am and stabbed him multiple times. Saif was then immediately rushed to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery. He is out of danger and is now in stable condition.
This incident has sparked widespread concerns about the security of residential areas in Mumbai's posh Bandra locality. Karishma Tanna, a neighbour Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan, called the attack a 'wake-up call' for standalone buildings in the area. She stressed the need for improved security measures and better-trained watchmen, stating, "I have been telling everybody in my cooperative housing society for over a year or even more to increase the security... If a burglar barges into your building, the watchmen are not trained enough to tackle the situation."
Karishma also mentioned in a video shared on paparazzi pages that she plans to address her building's security team following the incident. She expressed heartfelt wishes for Saif's speedy recovery.
Actress Raveena Tandon also voiced her concerns about Bandra's declining safety standards. Taking to Instagram, she highlighted the increasing vulnerability of celebrities and residents in the area. Raveena wrote in her Instagram story:
"Targeting celebrities and soft targets in what used to be a safe residential area has become rampant, with Bandra losing out to unruly elements, accident scams, hawker mafia, encroachers, land grabbers, and criminal elements racing on bikes, phone and chain grabbing. Need stronger measures. Wishing you a speedy recovery #Saif."
The incident has reignited discussions on the importance of tightening security protocols, particularly in high-profile neighbourhoods, and ensuring safety for all residents.
Our thoughts are with Saif Ali Khan and his family. Wishing him a swift recovery!
