Describing Saif as the "real hero" Niraj Uttamani, Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati revealed that the knife pierced 2 mm deeper. The injury could have possibly been fatal. TOI reports Uttamani saying, "We removed a 2.5-inch piece of knife from the spine. There were two severe, two intermediate injuries and two abrasions." Saif is doing well and currently on his recovery path.
