Saif Ali Khan Health Update: Saif Ali Khan is all over the news today and for the most shocking reasons. According to media reports, a burglary attempt took place during the wee hours of Thursday wherein Saif Ali Khan was injured after being stabbed six times. While the incident has left everyone shocked, the Devara actor was rushed to Lilavati Hospital and was said to be undergoing a treatment. According to media reports, Kareena Kapoor Khan and kids Jeh and Taimur were also at the residence at the time of the incident.

As per a report published in Hindustan Times, Saif's elder son Ibrahim Ali Khan rushed Saif to the hospital with the help of a househelp. In a statement, the hospital authorities confirmed that Saif suffered 6 wounds with a sharp object like knife out of which 2 were very deep. This isn't all. The authorities also claimed that one of the wounds is close to the spine and the actor had to undergo an injury for the same. Needless to say, the news had left the fans quite concerned and everyone has been praying for the actor's speedy recovery.

And now, Saif Ali Khan's team has issued a statement confirming that the Bhoot Police actor is out of danger and is recovering well. The official statement read as, "Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe and the police is investigating the incident. We would like to thank Dr Niraj Uttamani, Dr Nitin Dange, Dr Leena Jain and the team at Lilavati hospital. Thank you to all his fans and well-wishers for their prayers and thoughts during this time".

Imtiaz Ali Reacts To Attack On Saif Ali Khan

Meanwhile, Imtiaz Ali spoke about the shocking incident during a conversation with News18 and stated, "It's shocking to hear about the incident with Saif. At this point, the first that is coming to my mind that his injuries are not severe and he is going to recover soon. He is being taken care of at Lilavati Hospital. My heart goes out to Kareena, Saif, his children and his family. I hope he recovers very very soon".
