Saif Ali Khan's Son, Ibrahim Rushes Actor To Hospital By Auto-Rickshaw During Emergency; Here's Why

Earlier today, news came out that Saif Ali Khan had to be rushed to the hospital due to some serious injuries. There injuries were inflicted on him by a thief during the burglary of his house late into the night. Saif Ali Khan was reportedly stabbed numerous times during the burglary and sustained 6 different injuries, two of which were deep wounds and one was very close to his spine.

During such a stressful moment, it came upon Saif Ali Khan's son, Ibrahim Ali Khan to take his father to the hospital. Unfortunately, the car wasn't ready and as Ibrahim couldn't find anyone to drive to the hospital, he caught an auto instead to take Saif to the hospital. They took the three-wheeler for 2 kilometres, all the way to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, where Saif Ali Khan was admitted to this morning.

Saif Ali Khan has reportedly already undergone surgery, where a piece of the knife that struck him was pulled out from his body. His team issued a statement, though, that since the incident he has managed to stabilise and recover. The statement went as follows, "Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe and the police is investigating the incident. We would like to thank Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Dr. Nitin Dange, Dr Leena Jain and the team at Lilavati hospital. Thank you to all his fans and well-wishers for their prayers and thoughts during this time."

The police haven't made any official statement regarding the capture of the perpetrator of the assault and theft yet, but what we know so far is that the person in question primarily invaded Saif Ali Khan's residence for the purpose of stealing. It was his house staff that caught the uninvited guest, and in an attempt to pacify the altercation between the staff and the thief, Saif Ali Khan got seriously injured.
