Saif Ali Khan Undergoes Surgery After House Robbery: In a shocking turn of events, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has gotten injured after a thief barged into his residence in Mumbai last night and allegedly stabbed him. As per reports, the actor was rushed to the hospital after the incident.

According to HT, Saif Ali Khan was reportedly attacked by a thief, who sneaked into his Bandra residence on the wee hours of Thursday while he was sleeping with his wife-actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and sons - Tim and Jeh. Reportedly, the incident took place at around 3:30 am on Thursday (January 16).
Sharing the same on X, ANI tweeted, "An unknown person entered Actor Saif Ali Khan's residence and argued with his maid, late last night. When the actor tried to intervene and pacify the man, he attacked Saif Ali Khan and injured him. Police are investigating the matter: Mumbai Police (sic)".
Soon after this, the actor was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital and underwent surgery. Reportedly, the burglar fled from the crime scene. A FIR has been filed against the intruder at the Bandra Police Station and police is currently investigating the case.
As per the statement shared by the actor's team, it was an "burglary attempt". According to The Indian Express, the statement read, "There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan's residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing a surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation. (sic)"
The hospital has also issued an official statement on the same. Dr Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, stated, "Saif was attacked by an unidentified person in his house. He was brought in at 3:30 am in Lilavati. He has six injuries, two of which are deeper. One of the injuries is closer to his spine. We are operating on him. He is being operated upon by Neurosurgeon Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Leena Jain, and anaesthetist Nisha Gandhi. We will tell the extent of the damage only after the surgery is done. (sic)"
