Saiyaara: Ameesha Reacts To Newcomer Ahaan's Comparisons With Hrirthik In Epic Way; Says 'Baap To Baap Hai'

Ahaan Panday's film Saiyaara has drawn comparisons to Hrithik Roshan's Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. Ameesha Patel shares her perspective, wishing Ahaan success despite not having seen the film. Saiyaara, which tells a love story amidst challenges, has achieved notable commercial success.

Ahaan Panday's debut film, Saiyaara, has catapulted him to fame. Fans are drawing parallels between him and Hrithik Roshan, who also rose to stardom with his first film, Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, in 2000. Ameesha Patel, who starred alongside Hrithik in that film, was asked about these comparisons during a recent 'Ask Me Anything' session on X (formerly Twitter).

During the session, Ameesha Patel expressed her thoughts on the comparisons between Ahaan and Hrithik. She mentioned she hasn't watched Saiyaara yet but wished Ahaan well. In a seemingly playful manner, she remarked, "I haven't seen the film but I wish them luck. Ahaan as per is v promising actor .. but baap tho baap hai and beta tho beta hi hoga . Dugu is a WAR ahead from most of the stars … 🤣."

Comparisons with Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai

Earlier, Ameesha was spotted by paparazzi in Mumbai and was questioned about Saiyaara being likened to Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. She conveyed her best wishes to the newcomers and hoped they achieve box office success. However, she admitted she hadn't watched Saiyaara nor had anyone she knew. She noted that comparisons began even before the film's release due to social media and PR efforts.

"I wish the newcomers the very best again," Ameesha added, expressing hope for their continued success. She humorously acknowledged that it took 25 years for another debut to be compared to their iconic film.
