Saiyaara Promotional Strategy: A new star is born... Ahaan Panday has now officially become a Bollywood actor. Marking his cinematic debut, Saiyaara marks the big launch of another starkid, Ananya Panday's cousin and Deanne Panday-Chikki Panday's son. Launching him under the prestigious Yash Raj Films banner in a Mohit Suri‑directed romantic musical drama, Ahaan Panday stars opposite another promising newcomer, Aneet Padda, in this film. From teaser, trailer to the songs, Saiyaara already generated a massive buzz on the internet even before its release. Amidst strong pre-release buzz, the intense musical love story has hit cinemas today (Friday, July 18) across India. While fans are blown away by Ahaan-Aneet's onscreen chemistry, their absence from the promotions of their debut film has left everyone curious.

Saiyaara Box Office Collection Prediction Day 1

Featuring Ahaan Panday as 'Krish Kapoor', an aspiring musician, and Aneet Padda as 'Vaani', a promising songwriter, Saiyaara has surprisingly taken the box office on fire on its opening day. The advance booking report hints at Saiyaara taking over the crown of being the biggest opener for a newcomer film. As of now, Ishaan Khatter-Janhvi Kapoor's Dhadak (2018) holds the title of being the biggest debut film opener in Hindi.

Talking exclusively to Ranpreet Kaur from Filmibeat, trade expert Rohit Jaiswal has predicted that Saiyaara might open to a solid collection of Rs 16 cr on day 1 (today).

Saiyaara Release: Real Reason Why Ahaan Panday-Aneet Padda Skipped Their Debut Film Promotions

YRF has opted for a smart and unique promotional strategy for Saiyaara. Amidst the trend of intense promotions, Ahaan and Aneet have stayed away from promoting their debut film. Explaining the real reason behind their absence from promotions, director Mohit Suri revealed that it was a deliberate tactic.

Talking to Just Too Filmy, Suri said, "Until the two actors don't have anything behind them to talk about, the conversation will be filled with questions like 'Who is the prankster on the set?' or 'How is it to work with Mohit Suri?' It's all redundant stuff, and I don't think anyone has any interest in listening to all that (sic)".
