Saiyaara Star Ahaan Panday Confirms Next Film With Ali Abbas Zafar Is An Actioner, Shoot To Begin Soon

Ahaan Panday has finally shared first details of the next film after Saiyaara, confirming that the Ali Abbas Zafar project is an action drama led by three young actors under 30, with Sharvari joining as co-lead, and that filming is planned to start within the next few months following the strong response to Ahaan Panday’s debut.

The disclosure came when Ahaan Panday appeared at NDTV's Indian Of The Year event, where the actor talked briefly about the still-untitled action film, hinted at a quick production timeline, and stressed the youth-driven cast, while still keeping most story details under wraps for now.

Sharing what is known so far, Ahaan Panday confirmed that Ali Abbas Zafar will direct the new film, Sharvari will feature alongside Ahaan Panday in a leading role, the story will centre on three main characters aged under 30, and the team is preparing to take the film on floors within a couple of months.

Speaking about the collaboration, Ahaan Panday said, "It is an Ali Abbaz Zafar film. I don't know if I should say too much. All I can say is I will begin shooting very soon, in a couple of months. It is an action film and it's being led by three people who are under the age of 30. It's something that has not been done for a very long time. Audience will have to wait for it," Ahaan said.

According to a Pinkvilla report from last month, Ahaan Panday is expected to follow a strict two-month preparation schedule before cameras roll, focusing on intense physical training and action choreography to match Ali Abbas Zafar's vision for raw, realistic stunt work across the film's key set pieces.

The publication quoted a source who claimed, "Ahaan will need to prep in action for over 60 days to perfect the kind of raw action that Ali wants him to do on screen. It is a pure coincidence that the date when he starts action training is his birthday! So, it's no days off for Ahaan as he will have a working birthday this year," a source cited by the entertainment portal claimed.
