In an unexpected development, the Bombay High Court has allowed bail for two individuals implicated in a scheme to assassinate Bollywood icon Salman Khan. The judiciary pointed out that their only connection to the alleged assassination plan was their participation in a WhatsApp group where the plot was discussed. The court remarked, "Except this, no recovery of incriminating material has been found against them. Even the WhatsApp chats are vague." The defense highlighted that their clients were wrongfully accused, emphasizing that one of their co-accused, Deepak Gogoi, had already been granted bail in 2024. They argued that Vaspi and Gaurav had no ties to the Bishnoi gang or the conspiracy.
