Sanjana Ganesan SLAMS Trolls For Targeting Toddler Son

Sanjana Ganesan Slams Trolls: Sanjana Ganesan, the wife of Indian Cricketer Jasprit Bumrah, has been making headlines on Monday after she slammed the trolls who targeted her toddler son, Angad Bumrah. She took to Instagram and shared a story bashing the trolls for making 'vile' comments on her 1.5-year-old son and associating words like 'depression' and 'trauma' with him out of only '3 seconds of footage'. After the post went viral, Reddit joined hands to support Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli in their decision to keep their kids, Vaamika and Akaay, away from the camera and social media.

Sanjana Ganesan Slams Trolls For Targeting Son Angad

Sanjana Ganesan left a strong message for trolls who have been targeting their son, Angad. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, "Our son is NOT a topic for your entertainment. Jasprit and I do everything in our power to keep Angad away from social media because the internet is a despicable, vile place to be and I completely understand the implications of bringing a child to a cricket stadium filled with cameras, but please understand that Angad and I were there to support Jasprit and nothing else."

She further wrote, "Throwing around words like trauma and depression in reference to a baby says so much about who we're becoming as a community and it's honestly really sad. You know nothing about our son, nothing about our lives and I request you to keep your opinions online true to that."

"A little honesty and a little kindness goes a long way in today's world," she concluded the note.

Reddit Supports Anushka Sharma's Decision To Keep Kids Away From The Limelight

Sharing the screenshot, a Reddit post wrote, "Sanjana ganesan who is sports journalist & Cricketer Jasprit Bumrah's wife on memes and comments on her son. Was Anushka right all along on the privacy matter?"

After the post went viral, one user wrote, "Yes, anushka was right. and she never brought any of her children to the stadium after vamika's face was revealed in 2022."

One user wrote, "Obviously Virat - Anushka rightly keeping their kids out of limelight . India is worst place to exist if you are a celebrity kid the unnecessary trolling , abusive calls , rape threats all this coz your dad / mom is famous just doesn't makes sense."

Another one commented, "Anushka was right and has always been but the sad part is that you cannot expect people in our country to have decency and that is why it is always better to not bring their children for the matches. She has uploaded this story but it will have mixed reactions some people will give her shit for bringing the child to the ground and some people will say hide your child and call her attention seeking or pick me. The basic mentality of people in India is if they see something they will pass comments as if there bloody life depends on it and it will not change."

One user agrees with Anushka's decision, "Anushka was always right. These cricket fans are seriously a threat, everyone saw the threats they gave to dhoni' & virat's daughters. Also one of the reasoning they gave is don't bring your babies to the stadium if you don't want any memes or discussions on them."
