Sardaar Ji 3 Controversy | Kangana Ranaut Reacts To Diljit Dosanjh Working With Hania Aamir: Some People...
Kangana Ranaut has voiced concerns over Diljit Dosanjh's collaboration with Hania Aamir in Sardaarji 3 amidst ongoing India-Pakistan tensions. She calls for unified national sentiment among public figures and stresses the importance of aligning artists with nationalistic goals.

Kangana Ranaut has expressed her thoughts on Diljit Dosanjh's collaboration with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in the film Sardaarji 3. The movie, yet to be released in India, has faced backlash due to ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, especially following the Pahalgam attack in April. Kangana, a BJP Member of Parliament, shared her views during an interview with Times Now.
National Sentiment Among Public Figures
Kangana highlighted what she sees as a lack of unified national sentiment among public figures. She stated, "I've said enough about these people. In the beginning of our conversation, I pointed out that we need to have a sentiment of nation-building — everybody is a stakeholder." She questioned why artists and athletes don't share the same nationalistic responsibility as soldiers and politicians.
The controversy surrounding Sardaarji 3 intensified after the Indian government decided to block social media accounts of Pakistani artists and limit their involvement in Indian content post-Pahalgam attack. Despite this, Diljit's collaboration with Hania Aamir drew criticism from various quarters.
Kangana's Perspective on Nationalism
Kangana further remarked on the different paths public personalities take compared to soldiers and politicians. She said, "Why don't we have that sentiment? Why is Diljit having his own path? Why should somebody else, cricketers, have their own path? Even a soldier has his own path of nationalism." She emphasized the need for alignment among all stakeholders.
On her professional front, Kangana was last seen in her directorial project Emergency, portraying former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film depicts the 21-month period from 1975 to 1977 when Emergency was declared in India. Her upcoming projects include a Tamil psychological thriller with R. Madhavan and Bharat Bhagya Vidhata.
Kangana concluded by stressing the importance of aligning everyone towards a common nationalistic goal. "I am not saying it is unnatural, but we must try to align everybody," she added. She believes this alignment can only happen when politicians take responsibility for fostering such sentiments.
