Sardar Ji 3, featuring Diljit Dosanjh, faces a ban in India due to Pakistani actor Hania Aamir's role. Despite this, the film has seen success internationally.

Sardar Ji 3 Controversy: Diljit Dosanjh's film, Sardar Ji 3, has been banned in India due to the inclusion of Pakistani actor Hania Aamir. This decision follows heightened tensions between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack in April. Despite the ban, the movie has been released internationally, including in Pakistan.
On Instagram, Diljit shared a video showing audience reactions from a theatre in Pakistan. The clip featured Hania Aamir on screen. Additionally, he posted about the film's impressive global earnings of Rs 11.03 crore within just two days of its release.

Controversy Surrounding Sardar Ji 3
Diljit addressed the controversy regarding Hania's casting in an interview with BBC Asian Network. He explained that the film was completed before any political issues arose. "Jab yeh film bani thi tab situation sab theek tha," he stated, emphasizing that filming took place in February when everything was normal.
The singer-actor mentioned that unforeseen events led to the current situation being out of their control. Consequently, producers opted for an overseas release to recover their investment. "Now the situation is not in our hands," Diljit remarked, expressing his support for their decision.
Impact on Future Projects
In light of this controversy, some film bodies have urged Sunny Deol and Border 2's producers to remove Diljit from their upcoming project. Reports suggest Ammy Virk might replace him, though official confirmation is pending.
