Sardar Ji 3 Row | Mika Singh Slams Diljit Dosanjh As ‘Fake Singer’ Amid Hania Aamir Casting: Desh Pehle...
Mika Singh has voiced concerns over Diljit Dosanjh's collaboration with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in Sardaar Ji 3 amidst escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. The film faces backlash from the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, which calls for a boycott due to national sentiments.

Sardar Ji 3 Controversy: Mika Singh has criticised Diljit Dosanjh over his upcoming film, Sardaar Ji 3, featuring Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, Mika expressed disapproval of Diljit's collaboration with a Pakistani artist. He urged the entertainment industry to prioritise national interests over personal gains.
In an Instagram post titled "Desh Pehle," Mika highlighted the strained relations between India and Pakistan. He emphasised that artists should reconsider working with talent from across the border, especially when national dignity is at stake. Mika's statement appeared to target Diljit without naming him directly, referring to a "fake singer" who vanished after performing in India.

Film Boycott and Industry Reactions
The controversy surrounding Sardaar Ji 3 intensified after its trailer release. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) called for a boycott due to Hania Aamir's involvement. This backlash comes amid heightened tensions following a terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which resulted in 26 civilian casualties.
FWICE President BN Tiwari criticised Diljit for collaborating with a Pakistani actor. He stated that this decision disrespected Indian sentiments and questioned Diljit's loyalty. Tiwari emphasised that choosing Pakistani talent over Indian artists was an affront to the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers.
Diljit's Response and Film Release Plans
Responding to the controversy, Diljit Dosanjh explained that Sardaar Ji 3 was filmed earlier this year before political tensions escalated. Speaking to BBC Asian Network, he mentioned that the producers decided on an overseas release to minimise financial losses. "Jab yeh film bani thi tab situation sab theek tha… Now the situation is not in our hands," he said.
Despite Diljit's clarification, FWICE remains unsatisfied with his explanation. The organisation continues to demand accountability for his actions and insists on prioritising national interests in artistic collaborations.
Sardaar Ji 3: Cast and International Release
Sardaar Ji 3, directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, marks the third instalment in the popular franchise. The film features Diljit in his iconic ghost-hunting role alongside Hania Aamir and Neeru Bajwa. Supporting roles are played by Manav Vij, Gulshan Grover, Jasmin Bajwa, and Sapna Pabbi.
Due to ongoing backlash, the filmmakers have opted for a worldwide release on June 27, bypassing Indian theatres entirely. This decision reflects their attempt to navigate the controversy while ensuring the film reaches audiences globally.
