If the reports are to be believed the actor's injury was not major but this led to the delay of the shooting of his upcoming film. King is now scheduled to start its shooting in September 2025. However, there is no official report regarding the same from the makers or the actor himself. But NDTV reports that the rumors of Shah Rukh Khan's injury are not true. A source reported to the outlet that King Khan suffering from a back injury on the set of King is "not true."

The source said to NDTV, "Shah Rukh Khan has sustained injuries during various shoots in the past, some of which occasionally flare up again. For treatment and care, he often travels to the US (sic)." The actor is expected to return from America by the end of the month.

Earlier too, there were rumors about Shah Rukh Khan getting his nose injured during the shoot. However, the source debunked that rumor as well stating that he underwent minor nasal surgery and there was no injury.
