Shahid Kapoor-Triptii Dimri Movie Shooting Update Fact Check: After 'Kaminey', 'Haider', and 'Rangoon', the much-loved director-actor duo Vishal Bharadwaj and Shahid Kapoor have reunited once again for their 4th film together. This time, Shahid has paired up with the woman of the hour, Triptii Dimri. Earlier in January this year, the makers Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed the film as it went on floors. While everyone is looking forward to the film, the latest report suggests that we might have to wait a lil bit longer for the film to release as it has gotten delayed due to some reasons. Reacting to the same, the leading lady Triptii has revealed the truth.

Directed by Vishal Bharadwaj and bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala, Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri have joined hands together for the first time for this upcoming Bollywood action-thriller. Co-starring Nana Patekar and Randeep Hooda in important roles, the film has been reportedly titled 'Arjun Ustara'.
Amidst high anticipation, the said movie went on floors on 6th January 2025 in Mumbai. Vikrant Massey is expected to make a special appearance in this Vishal Bharadwaj film.
As per media reports surfacing online, the movie is set against the backdrop of the underworld in the 1990s. The Shahid Kapoor-Triptii Dimri starter has been scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on 5th December 2025.
Shahid Kapoor-Triptii Dimri Film Postponed Due To Deva Box Office Failure?
Shahid Kapoor's last big screen release, Deva, unfortunately, failed to leave an expected mark at the box office. And now, a recent media report claimed that Shahid is 're-evaluating' the script of Bharadwaj's film due to the box office failure of Deva. And hence, Arjun Ustara has been postponed, not shelved, as the report further claimed.
Reacting to the speculation, one of the fans DMed to Triptii Dimri and asked about it. The 'Animal' actress shut down the rumour and replied to the user by saying, "No no not true, we're shooting. (sic)"
Expressing his excitement for his reunion with Vishal Bharadwaj, Shahid previously told IANS, "It's being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, who is somebody I have known for a very long time. And I'm happy to be working with him. It's directed by Vishal Sir. Vishal Bhardwaj, who I've done so many films with. (sic)"
