Since 2019, the Golden Jury Film Festival has established itself as a respected platform celebrating meaningful cinema across formats. The festival consistently champions honest storytelling and diverse cinematic voices, recognising work that reflects creative depth and artistic integrity.
Founded by filmmaker Pragyesh Singh and directed by acclaimed filmmaker and cinematographer Subhransu Das, the Golden Jury Film Festival has evolved into a trusted and credible platform celebrating cinematic excellence. Singh envisioned the festival as a space rooted in fairness, integrity, and a genuine love for cinema, where process is valued as much as outcome. Moving away from personality-driven narratives, his vision prioritises filmmakers especially emerging voices-ensuring they feel seen, supported, and recognised within the filmmaking community. With Das's extensive experience across nationally acclaimed and award-winning films, the festival continues to bridge the gap between filmmakers and audiences while fostering meaningful storytelling and artistic innovation.
