Sharvari Wins OTT Acting Excellence Female Award At TOIFA

Bollywood's rising star Sharvari won the OTT - Acting Excellence (Female) - Web Film honour at the recently concluded Times of India Film Awards in Mumbai. Sharvari portrayed the role of Viraaj in director Siddharth P. Malhotra's Maharaj, a character that has stayed etched in the memory of every movie lover. From her child-like innocence to her courage and unapologetic honesty, her performance continues to win hearts till date.

Speaking about her win at the prestigious Times of India Film Awards, Sharvari opened up about what Maharaj meant to her and why the film and her role will always remain special - "Maharaj is a film that keeps giving and I'm fortunate to have this special one in my filmography. I have received incredible love from people across the world for my performance in Maharaj and I'm thankful to everyone for showering me with validation when I needed it the most. Maharaj happened to me when I was hungry to deliver a performance that the entire industry takes notice and it opens more doors for me. I'm glad I believed in myself and the love that I have got in return is magical."

The young actress also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this moment possible, acknowledging the team behind the film as well as those who guided her journey, "Thank you TOIFA for this honour, thank you Siddharth P, Malhotra - my director for choosing me to play a role that will also be one of my most cherished roles. Thank you Aditya Chopra sir for your constant belief in my craft. I hope the love for Maharaj keeps growing."

Sharvari has an interesting slate of films in 2026, and will next be seen in Alpha, where she will share the screen with Alia Bhatt.
