Sikandar OTT Rights Sold: All eyes are on Salman Khan's Eid biggie 'Sikandar' and rightfully so! After giving last year a miss, Bhaijaan is all set to treat his fans with a new film on Eid. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the high-budget entertainer marks Khan's first-ever collaboration with popular South director AR Murugadoss. While there are still quite a few days left for Sikandar's grand theatrical release, the film has been creating a lot of buzz for all the right reasons. As the film gears up to take the box office by storm, we hear that a major chunk of its budget has been recovered already. Yes, you read that right!

Sikandar Non-Theatrical Rights: Salman Khan Eid Biggie's 80% Of The Budget Recovered Already?

Featuring Salman Khan in the titular role, Sikandar stars Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady alongside Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi and Prateik Babbar among others. The high-budget action-drama has been taking the buzz a notch higher with every passing day.

According to Pinkvilla, Sikandar, mounted on a reported budget of Rs 180 cr approximately, has already recovered 80% budget ahead of its theatrical release just with its non-theatrical rights. As the report cites, the satellite and music rights of the Salman Khan starrer have been sold for Rs 110 cr. Reportedly, the music rights are sold to the Zee Music Company for Rs 30 cr, while the digital rights grabbed a whooping Rs 50 cr deal with Zee.

To note, the budget doesn't include Salman Khan's remuneration for this film.

Sikandar OTT Rights Sold: Cracks A Lucrative Deal With THIS Streaming Giant

Wondering where to stream Salman Khan's Sikandar after its theatrical release? Well, as shown in the poster, the movie will have its OTT premiere on Netflix. As per the same Pinkvilla report, the post-theatrical digital streaming rights of this film have been acquired by Netflix at a whopping Rs 85 cr. Reportedly, the amount can go up to Rs 100 cr if the theatrical return reaches over the Rs 350 cr-mark. The P&A cost of the movie is estimated to be around Rs 20 cr.

The makers recently dropped the first song from Sikandar titled 'Zohra Jabeen', setting the mood for Eid.
