Amid high anticipation, the makers dropped the much-awaited trailer of the high-budget action-packed film yesterday (Sunday, March 23), exactly a week before the movie's grand theatrical release. From Salman Khan's larger-than-life character to the dynamic ensemble, high-octane action sequences and the seeti-maar dialogues, the trailer of the Salman Khan starrer has sent fans into a frenzy and rightfully so!

Sikandar Trailer Crosses XX Million Views On YouTube In Less Than 24 Hours

Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Salman Khan's Sikandar is said to be mounted on a reported budget of Rs 200 crores! However, this doesn't include Khan's fat paycheck. Touted to be one of the biggest releases of the year, Sikandar features Salman Khan as 'Sanjay Rajkot' alongside his leading lady Rashmika Mandanna as 'Saisri' and Sathyaraj as 'Minister Pradhan'. Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi and Prateik Babbar also play important roles in this action-drama.

Amid high anticipation, Sikandar trailer was dropped on Sunday (yesterday, March 23) at an event in Mumbai in presence of the cast and crew. In less than 24 hours of its release, the trailer, with a duration of 3 minute 37 second, has already crossed over 36 million views on YouTube. As of now, the trailer video has recorded over 600k likes on the said platform.

Ever since the trailer of Salman Khan's highly-anticipated film Sikandar dropped, it's been trending all over the internet. According to the Twitter page 'Cine Hub', Sikandar trailer has become the fastest Hindi movie trailer to cross 20 million views in the history of Indian cinema.

As per another twitter post, Salman's Sikandar trailer has beat Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan's record. Apparently, Jawan trailer had crossed 15+ million views within 10 hours of its release, while Sikandar trailer crossed 16+ million views in 6 hours.

Sikandar Trailer Launch Event: Salman Khan Addresses 31 Year Age Gap With Rashmika Mandanna

At the grand trailer launch of Sikandar, Salman Khan took a hilarious dig at trolls over the 31-year-age-gap between him and Rashmika Mandanna.

When the actor received compliment from the host over his good look, the 59-year-old was quoted saying, "Beech mein aisa gadbad ho jaata hai ki 6-7 raat soye nahin, fir vo social media vaale peeche padd jaate hain, unko dikhaana padta hai ki abhi bhi hai (At times, things get so messed up that I don't sleep for six to seven nights. Then, those social media people start chasing me, so I have to show them that I'm still here)."

"Phir woh bolte hain 31 years ka difference hai heroine aur mujh mein, arrey jab heroine ko problem nahi hai, heroine ke papa ko dikkat nahi hai, tumko kyun dikkat hai bhai? Inki shaadi hogi, bachchi hongi, toh unke sath bhi kaam karenge. Mummy ki permission toh mil hi jayega (Then they say there's a 31-year age gap between me and the heroine. But if the heroine has no problem, and even her father has no issue, why do you have a problem, brother? When she gets married and has a daughter, I will work with her daughter too. Her mother's permission will be sorted)," he jokingly added.

Ever since the official announcement, Salman Khan was getting trolled for romancing someone much younger than him like Rashmika Mandanna in Sikandar. For those unversed, Rashmika is currently 28 years old.

Amid high anticipation, Sikandar is all set to hit big screens worldwide this Sunday, i.e., March 30, 2025. After Tiger 3, this will mark Salman's 2nd Sunday release.
