It marks Salman Khan's return to the silver screen after Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan after 1.5 years, where she is joining hands with Rashmika Mandanna and A.R. Murugadoss for a romantic thriller for the first time. However, upon the release of the film, the box office reports are going south for the superstar's films. This is the consecutive film of Salman with poor performance after Tiger 3 and KKBKKJ's poor box office record. While the film's team left no stone unturned to promote the film, many are believing that the film didn't get as much success as it was expected due to the lower amount of support from Bollywood.

A video clip from Salman's recent interview went viral where he was asked why didn't he get as much as support from the Bollywood as he gives to others. At first, he seemed to have been confused about it, however, later he said why Bollywood didn't lend support for Sikandar, "Unko lagta hai zaroorat nahi padti hogi (They think that they don't need that)."

After the video went viral, many spilled some crazy theories why Salman Khan didn't get support from his fraternity. One joked, "Bhai is Literally Me 😢 Sabke liye main available hota hoon , Mere liye Koi nahin... 😢"

Another one point out how Salman Khan uses his success to support the stars who are budding hinting at Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan cast, "Despite all the disgusting things he has done, I do imagine that it would be incredible to have Salman as your friend.
