After years of anticipation, Son of Sardaar 2 has finally hit the big screen, reintroducing Ajay Devgn as the iconic Jassi Singh Randhawa. But this time, it's not the fields of Punjab calling, Jassi has swapped old rivalries for a new life in Scotland, hoping to mend his broken relationship with his estranged wife.

However, what begins as a quest for peace soon explodes into utter chaos. In true Sardaar style, Jassi finds himself in the middle of a wild rollercoaster-caught between mafia feuds, a web of lies, and a grand wedding that's nothing short of a madhouse.

The film packs a punch with a stellar cast including Ravi Kishan, Kubbra Sait, Sanjay Mishra, and Roshni Walia. A special mention goes to the late Mukul Dev, whose memorable character from the first film returns in a heartfelt posthumous appearance, adding an emotional touch to the sequel.

Son Of Sardaar 2 has grabbed attention not just for its story but also for its budget. In a chat with Filmibeat, trade analyst Rohit Jaiswal revealed that the film was made on an estimated budget of around Rs 80-90 crore.

Talking about the box office target for Son Of Sardaar 2, Rohit Jaiswal stated, "Worst scenario, it has to do 100 crore, at least. Then only, it'll be considered a hit. If not, according to Ajay Devgn's standard, it won't be a hit. That too, it's a commercial film. So if there is no business of or around Rs 100 crores, then it is not a hit."

As per his prediction, Son Of Sardaar 2 is likely to mint around Rs 6 crore on the opening day (August 1).
