SON OF SARDAAR 2 OVERVIEW: PLOT, CAST DETAILS
Years after the original Son Of Sardaar hit the big screen, the much-anticipated sequel is finally here. Son of Sardaar 2 picks up with Jassi Singh Randhawa, played once again by Ajay Devgn, as he enters a new chapter of life. No longer caught in family feuds, Jassi heads to Scotland with hopes of reuniting with his estranged wife, following years of house arrest in Punjab and the resolution of past conflicts.
However, what begins as a peaceful journey soon turns into chaos. Jassi unexpectedly finds himself tangled in a wild hostage situation, a bitter turf war between rival mafia families, and a hilariously over-the-top Sardaar wedding like no other.
The film has seen several casting changes during production. Although Sanjay Dutt was initially confirmed to reprise his role from the 2012 film, visa issues prevented him from filming in the UK. Ravi Kishan temporarily stepped in, but Dutt later confirmed he will appear in the Indian portions of the film. Vijay Raaz, another actor originally cast, was eventually dropped from the project.
Son of Sardaar 2 features a dynamic ensemble cast including Ravi Kishan, Kubbra Sait, Sanjay Mishra, and Roshni Walia among others. The film also includes a posthumous appearance by Mukul Dev, who was part of the original film's cast.
Packed with comedy, action, and family drama, the sequel promises an entertaining ride as Jassi navigates love, loyalty, and absolute madness in a foreign land.
