Son of Sardaar 2 Overseas Review: Ajay Devgn, who had set the box office on fire with Raid 2 a while ago, is here with his new release and we can't keep calm about it. We are talking about Son of Sardaar 2 which is a comedy drama and is the much talked about sequel to the 2012 release Son of Sardaar. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Son Of Sardaar 2 features Ajay reprising his role of Jassi Randhawa as he returns to win back his love. To note, Son of Sardaar 2 is jointly produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, N.R. Pachisia and Pravin Talreja.

Apart from Ajay Devgn, Son of Sardaar 2 also features Mrunal Thakur as Rabia, Ravi Kishan as Raja, Neeru Bajwa as Dimple, Deepak Dobriyal as Gul, Kubbra Sait as Mehwish, Chunky Panday as Danish, Sharat Saxena as Ranjit Singh, Mukul Dev as Tony, Vindu Dara Singh as Tittu, Roshni Walia as Saba, Sanjay Mishra as Bantu Pandey, Ashwini Kalsekar as Premlata, Sahil Mehta as Goggi and Dolly Ahluwalia as Bebe, Jassi's mother. Interestingly, Son of Sardaar 2 also marks Ajay and Mrunal's first collaboration and not just their chemistry but the peppy songs of the movie have also managed to create a massive buzz in the town. As per a viral tweet on micro-blogging site Twitter, Son of Sardaar 2 is a cringefest. The Ajay starrer got 2 stars and the tweet read as, "It's a Forceful sequel which is unbearable to watch completely".

On the other hand, Dubai based self proclaimed critic Umair Sandhu shared the censor board review and called Son of Sardaar 2 is a cringe movie along with giving the movie 1 star

Son of Sardaar 2 Review By BBFC

Interestingly, BBFC gave the movie a rating of 12A which means it is suitable for audience above 12 years of age. The scenes of violence of largely slapstick and has reference of substance abuse, racial discrimination etc.

Meanwhile, Ravi Kishen spoke about how he got the film and stated, "One day he (Ajay Devgn) called me and said that Sanjay Dutt was supposed to come for Son Of Sardaar 2, but due to some reason his visa got rejected. He asked me if I would do the film, and I was so happy because Sanjay Dutt is a cult, but there was also pressure to replace him. It was unbelievable that he offered me such a big role".
