Govinda-Sunita Ahuja Divorce Rumours Update: Earlier this year in February, Bollywood actor-turned-politician Govinda hit headlines over speculations of his divorce with wife Sunita Ahuja after almost 27 years of marriage. After a whirlwind of speculations, the divorce speculations were dismissed. During a recent interview, Sunita Ahuja cleared the air about the same and addressed the gossip about the actor's affairs.

Govinda Divorce Rumours: Wife Sunita Ahuja Sets The Record Straight

During a recent interview with Zoom, Sunita Ahuja addressed the divorce rumours with Govinda. Dismissing the speculations, "Afwaah, afwaah, afwaah, aap pehle pucho toh ki ye baat sahi hai. I will never accept it, aur kisi ka himmat hai toh mere samne aake pucho. Kisi ne afwaah uda diya toh aap haan me haan mila rahe ho, that is not right. Agar hoga toh I will be the first one to come in the media and speak about it. But I have belief ki mera ghar kabhi bhagwan nahi todega. (sic)

(Rumour, rumour, rumour, first ask whether it's even true. I will never accept it, and if anyone has the courage, they should ask me directly. Just because someone spreads a rumour, you start agreeing with it - that's not right. If anything like this ever happens, I'll be the first to come forward and speak to the media. But I truly believe that God will never break my home)."

She also broke her silence on Govinda's extra-marital affairs. During the same interview, she further claimed that Govinda won't ever leave his family for some 'stupid' woman. "Jis din confirm hoga, ya mere aur Govinda ke mu se aap log sunoge, vo alag baat hai. But I don't think so Govinda can live without me nor I can live without Govinda. And Govinda can never leave his family for any stupid person or stupid woman. (The day it's confirmed, or if you hear it directly from me or Govinda, that will be a different matter. But I don't think Govinda can live without me, nor can I live without him. And Govinda would never leave his family for any stupid person or stupid woman)," she added.

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja tied the knot in 1987 and have two kids, one daughter and a son.
