The actress was recently spotted following the news of Sunjay Kapur's passing. There has been considerable speculation surrounding the timing of Sunjay Kapur's funeral. According to reports from NDTV, the funeral is scheduled to take place in New Delhi on June 19, 2025. The ceremony is set for 5 p.m. at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in New Delhi. Ahead of the funeral proceedings, Karisma Kapoor, along with her daughter Samaira and son Kiaan, was seen at the airport. Let us take a look at them.

Sunjay Kapur Funeral: Karisma Kapoor Makes First Appearance Since Ex-Husband's Death

Karisma Kapoor has been maintaining a low profile ever since the passing of her ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur. For the first time, the Bollywood actress was seen in public following his death, as she headed to attend the funeral ceremony. Karisma was spotted at Kalina airport with her kids, heading to Delhi for the funeral. All three of them, Karisma, Samaira and Kiaan, were dressed in a white ensemble. Neither of them entertained the paps nor gave any comment. They silently headed for the terminal without making any comment.

Along with Karisma and kids, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were also seen accompanying them at the airport.

Sunjay Kapur's Funeral Date & Time

Sunjay Kapur's funeral will be held at 5 pm today on Thursday, June 19, 2025. The funeral ceremony details were shared by the Kapur family on Wednesday. There has been delay in brining Sunjay's body back to India because of his citizenship. As per the reports, Sunjay had a US citizenship and he died in London, UK because of his the paper works took time.

Besides the funeral ceremony at Lodhi Road crematorium in New Delhi, a prayer meeting for Sunjay Kapur will be held on June 22, 2025 at Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi. The prayer meeting for Sunjay Kapur will be held in between 4 to 5 pm. This is expected to be attended by Kapur and Kapoors.
