Sunjay Kapur Last Photo Before Death: Renowend business tycoon and Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband Sunjay Kapur's sudden death came as a shock to everyone. The 53-year-old passed away on June 12, 2025, due to a heart attack after he swallowed a bee while playing Polo in London. Sunjay breathed his last at the Guards Polo Club in the UK.

While late Sunjay Kapur's family members await the funeral, the businessman's last photo from his Polo match on the day of his death is going viral on the internet. The picture was captured moments before he swallowed the bee which led to a sting causing cardiac arrest.

Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband Sunjay Kapur's last rites and funeral will reportedly be performed in New Delhi. As per reports, the post-mortem is currently underway and his family is yet to receive his dead body.

Ashok Sachdev, late Sunjay Kapur's father-in-law (wife Priya Sachdev's father) told NDTV, "The postmortem is currently underway. Once the paperwork is complete, the body will be brought to India for the last rites."

Sunjay Kapur Last Pic Before Swallowing A Bee Goes Viral

Besides being a businessman, Sunjay Kapur was a passionate Polo player and had even played with Prince William. On June 12, he was playing a Polo match when he accidentally swallowed a bee and collapsed on the spot.

On Sunday (June 15), Sunjay's Polo team Sujan Indian Tigers dropped a picture of him from the Polo ground and penned a heartfelt caption while remembering him. In the picture, Sunjay can be seen smiling ear-to-ear while posing with a friend for a photo.

The Instagram page captioned the pic, "Today we play the final of the Cartier Trophy in the memory of our dear friend Sunjay Kapur who tragically passed away on the field a few days ago.

Our Captain and Patron, Jaisal Singh, will mount up with the team to observe a minute's silence in honour of his dear old friend Sunjay, and then sit out as a mark of respect 🙏🏼.

As per The Telegraph, a witness allegedly claimed that Sunjay Kapur's last words before suffering a heart attack were - "I've swallowed something". It was just before he collapsed during the game at Smith's Lawn in Windsor.
