Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: CBI Files Closure Report On Two Cases On Saturday After 5 Years

Sushant Singh Case Closure Report: CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) on March 22, 2025 filed the closure report on Sushant Singh Rajput case. PTI reported the citing of the officials in this case. The report came after the actor's manager Disha Salian's father approached Bombay Hight court after almost 5 years of his death. To note, Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14, 2024, allegedly by suicide.

Sushant Singh Rajput Case Closure Report Filed By CBI: Reports

As per Deccan Herald's report, a source said on Saturday that the closure report in two cases has been filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This closure report has reportedly been filed in two cases- allegations made by SSR's father against the late actor's then gf Rhea Chakroborty and the allegations made by Rhea Chakroborty against SSR's family.

The sources revealed that after conducting the thorough investigation for more than 4 years, there were no evidence found regarding the claims that anyone drove the actor Sushant Singh Rajput to death by suicide. Indeed, the actress and SSR's then-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family has now been given a clean chit.

As per the reports, All India Institute of Medical Sciences' (AIIMS) forensic team has also stated that Sushant Singh Rajput's death was not a murder but indeed a death by suicide.

Kai Po Che actor Sushant Singh Rajput was just 34 years old when he was found hanging at his flat in Bandra, Mumbai. His dead body was found on June 14, 2020. It was first reported that the actor did of suicide. Later as the investigation started several theories about his murder death started swirling.

After the death of the actor, Bihar Police registered abetment of suicide case after the complaint was filed by the late actor's father KK Singh. Later, the case was took over by CBI for further investigation. And, Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) was asked to forensically examine the crime scene.
