In an interview with News18, Tanushree Dutta addressed whether she will reopen the #MeToo case against Nana Patekar amid the ongoing alleged harassment she has been facing. She said to the outlet, "Ever since I spoke up against Nana Patekar, I've been followed wherever I go. My career has been destroyed (sic)." However, she confirmed, "I'm not trying to reopen the old case. I only want action on the new incidents that are endangering my safety (sic)."

Tanushree last appeared in a 2013 film titled "SuperCops Vs Super Villains." She made strong accusations against the Bollywood's veteran actor Nana Patekar in 2018. To note, they acted together in 2008 in Horn OK Please. Despite the allegations, Nana was cleared off all the charges in 2019.
