Considering the current theatrical valuation, the standard recovery from the Hindi version stands at roughly Rs 51 crore, which is 60% of the production cost. That's the real benchmark the film is chasing in its opening run."

Talking about its box-office target, Rohit added, "If Tere Ishk Mein wants to steer clear of the flop label, it must cross Rs90 crore at the box office. Touch Rs 100 crore, and the film enters the average/plus territory. A hit status will only come once it breaches Rs 115 crore, and the makers can proudly announce a superhit only if it powers past the Rs 130 crore mark. It's a tight but achievable window - now it all depends on content, word of mouth, and how strongly the audience connects with the film."
