The Bengal Files (The Delhi Files) Teaser Release Time: After the successes of 'The Kashmir Files', and 'The Vaccine War', renowned filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is back with his next - The Bengal Files, another hard-hitting film. Starring veteran actor-turned-politician Mithun Chakraborty in the lead, the highly-anticipated first glimpse of The Bengal Files: Right To Life is all set to be dropped this week. Ahead of its teaser release, the movie underwent a title change.

The Bengal Files (The Delhi Files) Cast, Story

Directed and co-produced by Vivek Agnihotri, The Bengal Files: Right To Life, previously titled 'The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter', has been bankrolled by Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi and Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri.

Based on the real yet untold story of communal violence ahead of independence, the plot of The Bengal Files is centered around the 1946 Calcutta Riots in undivided Bengal. The film boasts a dynamic ensemble including names like Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Namoshi Chakraborty (Mithun Chakraorty's son), Pallavi Joshi, Govind Namdeo and Punit Issar among others.

The Bengal Files Teaser Release Date & Time

On Tuesday (June 10), a while ago, director Vivek Agnihotri announced the title change of his next. The movie has been renamed from 'The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter' to 'The Bengal Files: Rights To Life' due to public demand.

Unveiling the new poster of the movie, The Bengal Files teaser is scheduled to drop on June 12 (Thursday) sharp at 12 PM IST. The teaser video will be available on The Bengal Files team members' official social media handles including the YouTube.

The Delhi Files is now The Bengal Files. Teaser coming this Thursday, 12 June 2025 at 12 PM.

The Bengal Files Release Date

Originally scheduled to hit cinemas on Independence Day 2025, The Bengal Files release date has been postponed. Now, the movie is all set to arrive on big screens worldwide on September 5, 2025.
