Twinkle Arora Feels Hopeful After Aneet Padda’s Big Break With YRF: “I Wish This Happens to Me Too”

Actress Twinkle Arora, who has been winning hearts with her performance in Jhanak recently opened up about how the debut of Aneet Padda has inspired her.

Aneet Padda, who hails from Amritsar, Punjab, is making her Bollywood debut as the lead in Saiyaara, opposite Ahaan Pandey, under the banner of Yash Raj Films (YRF). What makes Aneet's journey special is that she comes from a non-filmy background, with no family connections in the film industry.

Twinkle, who herself comes from Chandigarh, says this kind of launch gives her hope.

"Yes, that definitely makes me feel a lot a lot hopeful as I come from Chandigarh. Almost the same background. I have no family from this industry and if YRF and other production houses are taking this step of launching faces who have worked in the industry but do not come from a big family background, it definitely makes me hopeful," she shared.

Twinkle also admitted she was truly moved when she first came across Aneet's story. "I personally, when I saw a poster, when I saw her story, when I read about her, it made me feel like oh my God, this is so great and I wish this happens to me as quickly as possible. I wish Dharma or YRF looks at me and says 'this is the girl.'"

She added, "The taboo is breaking and I'm really glad about it. I'm also glad that rawness is being appreciated again."
