He was 72 years old when he breathed his last. The last rites, which were performed by Mannara and her sister Mitali Handa, took place yesterday (June 18, 2025) at the Crematorium Ground in Amboli, Andheri West, Mumbai. While Mannara bid a tearful goodbye to her beloved dad, Parineeti's absence at the funeral caught everyone's attention. To note, she didn't share anything on her Instagram regarding the death of Mannara's father. On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra has mourned the loss of her 'fufaji' on her Ig stories.

Mannara Chopra, known for her work in both Telugu and Hindi film industries, nearly fainted at the funeral of her father Raman Rai Randa while performing the last rites with her sister Mitali.
Several heartbreaking moments from the funeral went viral on the internet. In one of the tear-jerking videos, Mannara was seen breaking down and hugging her sister.
Sharing the news of her dad's sad demise, Mannara shared a note on her Instagram that read, "With profound grief and sorrow we inform the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family. (sic)"

Mannara's father Raman Rai Handa was married to both Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Parineeti Chopra's paternal aunt Kamini Handa. That means the Big Boss 17 star is their first cousin.
While Mannara shares a close bond with Priyanka Chopra and is a regular member of PeeCee's family functions and gatherings, she seems to be quite distant from the 'Amar Singh Chamkila' actress.
