Women’s Premier League 2025 Opening: Ayushmann Khurrana Sings Maa Tujhhe Salaam; Brings Stadium On Its Feet

Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana performed at the opening night of the Women's Premier League 2025 in Vadodara last night and his electrifying performance left the entire stadium on its feet as he dedicated Maa Tujhe Salaam to the spirit of India and woman power!

Ayushmann held the tricolour close to his heart, running across the cricket stadium while singing the cult AR Rahman song, igniting an infectious spirit of patriotism amongst the audience.

Ayushmann, while performing on Maa Tujhhe Salaam, dedicated his performance to India and the spirit of womanhood. He said, "This is for all the women and mothers and for our country. WPL is not just a moment, it's a movement. It gives a platform to players not just from our country, but across the world and thanks to BCCI for taking this forward. Now the youngsters have great new role models who are women and talent is not just about a particular gender, it's beyond that."

His electrifying song & dance act also included his chartbusting numbers - Pani Da Rang & Saadi Galli Aaja as well as his big dance number - Jehda Nasha! His bhangra moves combined with his soulful voice got the stadium pumping with energy on WPL's opening night.
