Cinephiles have been eagerly waiting to know the results as several actors and actresses have touched hearts with their performance. The awards ceremony will bestow the ultimate prize to films that have received their certification from CBFC between January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. Only films that have been certified in the said period will be eligible for winning the top laurels.

National Film Awards 2025 Winners List: Who Won Last Year?

Last year, the government announced the winner's name for 71st National Film Awards at the National Media Centre in New Delhi on August 1. Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey bagged the award for Best Actor for their roles in Jawan and 12th Fail, respectively.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 12th Fail was awarded the honour for Best Feature Film. Rani Mukerji was bestowed with the National Award for Best Actress for her performance in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway.

The Kerala Story's Sudipto Sen won the National Award for Best Direction, while Vijayaraghavan and Muthupettai Somu Bhaska received the award for Best Supporting Actor.

Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani was honoured with the Best Popular Film for Entertainment while Sanya Malhotra's Kathal won Best Hindi Film.
