Actor Mihir Ahuja Begins Shooting For New Project Opposite Chiraiya Fame Prasanna Bisht
Actor Mihir Ahuja has officially begun shooting for an exciting new project, where he will be seen sharing screen space with talented actor Prasanna Bisht, best known for her performance in Chiraiya. Directed by filmmaker Aditya Chandioke, the project promises to be a refreshing light-hearted dramedy packed with warmth, humour, and rooted storytelling.

Known for directing projects like the Netflix film Greater Kalesh and Baat Pakki, Aditya Chandioke is bringing a slice-of-life narrative that carries the quirky charm and emotional simplicity reminiscent of films like Bareilly Ki Barfi. The project aims to capture the innocence, humour, and cultural flavour of small-town India through relatable characters and heartfelt moments.
In the project, Mihir Ahuja will be portraying a young man from Ujjain, a role that marks a completely new territory for the actor. To prepare authentically for the character, Mihir has been actively learning the Ujjaini and Malawi dialect and immersing himself in the local culture and mannerisms.
Sharing his excitement about the project, Mihir said, "This film feels extremely special to me because I genuinely feel like I'm stepping into a world I've never explored before as an actor. I've never played a character from Ujjain, and that comes with its own rhythm, innocence, body language, and way of speaking. I wanted to approach it with complete honesty, so I've been spending a lot of time understanding the Ujjaini and Malwai dialect, the culture, and even the little nuances in how people communicate there. It's both challenging and exciting at the same time."
He further added, "What really attracted me to the script was its simplicity and heart. Films like Bareilly Ki Barfi always stayed with audiences because they were entertaining, emotional, and deeply rooted in real characters. There's a certain warmth and humour in this story that instantly connected with me. The tone of the film has that light-hearted dramedy space where emotions feel organic and humour comes naturally from situations and people."
Talking about working with the team, Mihir shared, "Working with Aditya Chandioke has been an amazing experience already. He has a very clear and sensitive vision as a director. We did workshops before starting the actual shooting for this project. He understands characterisation and storytelling beautifully and creates a very comfortable environment for actors to experiment and perform honestly. I'm also really excited to be working with Prasanna Bisht. She's a very sincere performer and brings a lot of authenticity to scenes. I think audiences will enjoy the chemistry and energy this film brings."
