Alia-Ranbir's Love & War Gets A New Release Date; To Release In 2027 - Deets

New Delhi, Apr 17 (PTI) Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much-awaited next feature film "Love & War" will be released in theatres on January 21, 2027, his production banner announced on Friday. Billed as an epic romance drama, the movie will feature actors Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles.

The director's banner Bhansali Productions shared the new release date for the movie, which was earlier slated for March 20, 2026, debut, on its official social media pages.

"#SanjayLeelaBhansali's #LOVEandWAR starring #RanbirKapoor, @aliaabhatt & @vickykaushal09... In cinemas on 21st January 2027," Bhansali Productions wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the filmmaker with the three stars.

The film will be released in three languages -- Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. "Mounted on a grand scale, 'Love & War' marks Sanjay Leela Bhansali's most ambitious romantic drama yet.

With its sweeping narrative and emotional intensity, it stands as India's grandest love saga and one of the biggest romantic spectacles in Indian cinema," the makers said in a press release.

"Love & War" marks Ranbir's reunion with Bhansali, who gave the actor his debut project with the 2007 movie "Saawariya", while it is for the first time that Vicky is working with the director. Alia had earlier collaborated with Bhansali for his critically-acclaimed 2022 directorial "Gangubai Kathiawadi".
