Aneet Padda & Ahaan Panday To Reunite With Mohit Suri Post Saiyaara's Massive Success? Here's What We Know
Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda are set to work again with director Mohit Suri on a new romantic film, expected to start shooting between October and November 2026. The project, backed by YRF, follows their earlier film Saiyaara and is currently moving through an active pre-production phase.

The romantic drama will be the second film featuring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda together after Saiyaara, which helped position the pair as a strong young on-screen combination. Industry chatter suggests expectations are high as Mohit Suri returns to a genre closely associated with earlier work.
Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda reunion fuels romantic film buzz
According to a report in Pinkvilla, the makers are aiming to roll cameras in October or November 2026, once all groundwork is complete. The team is finalising creative and logistical details, while keeping key elements under wraps until closer to the shoot.
A source told the portal, "Ahaan and Aneet are reuniting with Mohit Suri for a fresh romantic story. The film is currently in the pre-production stage, and the makers are aiming to commence principal photography in October-November. There is a lot of excitement within the team as they come together after the phenomenal response of Saiyaara."
Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda clarify film title and current work
The same source addressed speculation around the film’s name, after several reports claimed it was titled Satranga. "There have been several reports regarding the title, but the film was never titled Satranga," the source added, stressing that the team has not announced any official title yet.
Both actors are currently committed to other projects and will shift focus to the Mohit Suri romantic drama once those schedules end. Ahaan Panday is shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's next film and is expected to complete his portions by July 2026. Aneet Padda is filming Shakti Shalini during this period.
Back in April 2026, while announcing the new collaboration with the Saiyaara team, Mohit Suri explained why love stories remain central to work. He said, "It's always been love stories for me. Overwhelming, when emotions are so unbound, self-consuming and become impossible to ignore. Love is supposed to be felt intensely, and that's why I naturally gravitate towards this as a storyteller. The film explores this unabashedly."
Reflecting on reuniting with Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda under the YRF banner, Suri added, "So coming back with the same team from Saiyaara feels incredibly special, maybe it was always written in the stars. Reuniting, coming back home but with a renewed creative hunger. This time I feel like a newcomer, excited, anxious about this story, and I hope my music will again touch people like I have always strived for through my films." With the trio returning after Saiyaara’s response, anticipation around the untitled romantic film continues to build as pre-production progresses.
