Aneet Padda-Ahaan Panday's Saiyaara To Re-Release Ahead Of Valentine's Day 2026? Here's What We Know
Saiyaara returns to select Indian theatres ahead of Valentines Day 2026, with limited screenings in key cities while continuing to stream on Netflix. The romantic musical, a domestic hit in 2025, has rekindled fan interest and underscored the appeal of music-driven storytelling.
Saiyaara, starring Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday, has quietly returned to select cinema screens across India. Seven months after its July 2025 opening, the romantic musical is getting a limited theatrical run ahead of Valentine's Day 2026, even though the Mohit Suri-directed film is already streaming on Netflix.

The production house YRF has not announced any formal re-release campaign. Instead, Saiyaara has simply appeared again on theatre listings, with a few shows in major cities. The film was one of 2025's top five titles, which helps explain the renewed interest from exhibitors targeting Valentine's Day audiences.
Saiyaara re-release show details and ticket information
Bookings on BookMyShow show that Saiyaara currently has restricted screenings in metro centres. The film is playing in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Pune, but with different schedules in each city. According to the platform, Mumbai has shows through the weekend, while Delhi viewers can catch it until Wednesday.
Ticket prices for the Saiyaara re-release have been kept on the lower side. The strategy appears aimed at drawing fans who missed the initial 2025 theatrical run, as well as couples planning Valentine's Day outings. Only a handful of daily shows are listed in these cities, suggesting a targeted, nostalgic programming move rather than a wide rollout.
Saiyaara re-release and the film’s earlier box office run
When Saiyaara first opened in July 2025, the romantic musical ran in theatres for more than 50 days. During that period, it built strong word-of-mouth, became a key youth favourite, and finished as one of the five highest-performing Indian films of 2025 at the domestic box office.
The film then moved to Netflix on 12 September 2025, after its cinema run slowed. By that time, Saiyaara had collected Rs 398.25 crore in India gross. Its worldwide earnings stood at Rs 569.75 crore, underlining the appeal of its old-school love story and music-driven plot across different markets.

Saiyaara re-release, cast response and fan celebrations
The success of Saiyaara turned Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday into overnight talking points among younger viewers. In January 2026, the co-stars met again to mark six months since release by recreating their well-known Abhi Kuch Pal Baaki Hai moment, which had already become a recognisable scene for fans online.
For the recreation, Aneet Padda wore a white kurta and jeans, mirroring Vaani Batra from the film. Ahaan Panday sat on a bike, just as Krish Kapoor does in the original sequence. Aneet shared the picture and wrote the caption, "18.07.25 —> 18.01.26 (sic)." The post underlined how strongly the film continues to resonate.
In an interview with Femina, Aneet Padda discussed the emotional pressure that followed Saiyaara's success. Aneet said it felt unsettling at first to see so many opinions about personal work, and described how the sudden volume of attention and commentary seemed draining before coping mechanisms developed.
Aneet recalled that co-star Ahaan Panday played an important role in making things feel manageable. Aneet said, "Ahaan and I kept saying one thing to each other: 'Let's remind the world of a kind of love they've forgotten. Let's do it for love.'" Aneet added that this shared thought helped handle responses after release.
During the same conversation, Aneet said that the messages and calls after Saiyaara came out were 'too much for her nervous system'. Aneet also spoke about grasping the scale of fame and the responsibility attached. Despite the strain, Aneet expressed clear gratitude that such success arrived with Saiyaara at this stage of the career.
Saiyaara re-release and the film’s story of love
Saiyaara follows Vaani Batra, who wants to become a journalist, and Krish Kapoor, who dreams of being a major singing star. Their paths cross, sparks fly, and they fall deeply in love, but the script stresses that their relationship has to withstand several hurdles before they can even think of a future together.
The narrative positions Saiyaara as a return to grand, emotional love stories, something Hindi cinema had not centred for a while. With its music, focus on feelings, and journey through ambition and sacrifice, the film presents love as a force that can survive obstacles, which likely explains its audience connect and current re-release.
