Arjun Bewakoof: Asur Fame Actor Satendra Yadav Joins Sanjay Mishra And Rajesh Tailang In Neo-Noir Dark Comedy

Actor Satendra Yadav known for his work in Asur: Welcome to Your Dark Side, Commando and Sarfira will be seen playing an interesting character in the neo-noir dark comedy thriller Arjun Bewakoof. Starring Sanjay Mishra, Dolly Singh and Rajesh Tailang, the film is directed by Smita Singh and written by Anand Raaj.

Speaking about what drew him to the project and the character, he said, "When Arjun Bewakoof was offered to me, I was in Delhi and actively looking for good work. The first thing I heard about was the character, which immediately caught my attention. I auditioned for the role and later received a brief of the story. Once I understood the narrative and the character, I found it very interesting. It felt like a role with depth and layers, something I had always wanted to explore as an actor."

Talking about what excites him the most as the film prepares to go on floors, he said, "I am most excited about working with the entire team and bringing the character to life. During our workshops, we spent a lot of time discussing the story, the scenes, and the characters. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly, almost like a family. That kind of environment allows actors to be more open and creative, so I am really looking forward to carrying that energy onto the sets when the shoot begins."

Sharing his thoughts on working alongside veteran actors like Sanjay Mishra and Rajesh Tailang, he said, "It is a very exciting opportunity for me. Both Sanjay Mishra sir and Rajesh Tailang sir are extremely experienced and respected actors. Knowing that I will be sharing screen space with such talented performers is both inspiring and motivating. As an actor, you always learn a lot by working alongside artists of their calibre."

Speaking about the film's blend of suspense and dark comedy, he said, "Suspense and dark comedy are two genres that I personally enjoy a lot. I have worked on serious and period dramas before, but this combination gives actors a different kind of space to experiment. The mix of tension and humor creates very interesting moments on screen, and it allows you to add different layers to your performance. That is something I find very exciting."
